Nic is my brother, and he’s always been the kind of person who puts others first. Recently, he was involved in a devastating explosion that left him in critical condition. He had to be airlifted to a burn center and is now in an induced coma, fighting for his life. Even after being injured, Nic’s first thought was for his neighbors’ safety—he battled the blaze because he was worried about their welfare. That’s just the kind of person he is: selfless, brave, and always thinking of others before himself.

The road ahead for Nic is long and uncertain. He faces extensive medical bills and will need multiple skin grafts as part of his recovery. Our family is doing everything we can, but the costs are overwhelming. We want to make sure Nic gets the best care possible so he can heal and, hopefully, return to the life he loves.
