He was transferred again to the University of Iowa hospital, where he has been placed on multiple machines to support his body's functioning. He has undergone numerous procedures and countless scans so far. With the heart not functioning properly, it has caused a crucial lack of blood flow to Nico's legs and right arm.

While Nico is fighting for his life at the age of 20, his mom and dad have been by his side every step of the way, and his sister flew in from Texas to be with them.
