Last Tuesday, 23rd September, our dear friend and colleague Nicole Turner suffered a sudden and serious stroke.

She was first taken to Nowra Hospital, then transferred to Wollongong Hospital, and is now receiving critical care at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. Yesterday, Nicole bravely underwent surgery and is now facing the long road to recovery.

Nicole will need extensive rehabilitation. Her doctors have advised she will remain in hospital for at least another week. Once discharged, she will return home to her two beautiful children, who are her greatest motivation to heal and move forward.

While Nicole has a strong support network of family and friends, she will be unable to work for at least the next three months, as her doctors have recommended complete rest before reassessing her progress.
