Nico Paguio was a huge influence in the lifting community throughout Northeast Philadelphia and Montgomery County. Everyone knew him for his supportive nature, reliability, and the way he always put a smile on people’s faces. As a valued member of the team at Optimal Nutrition, Nico’s presence was felt by everyone around him. He was not only a dedicated colleague, but also a loving husband to Sam and a devoted father to his baby girl, Sophia. I had the privilege of working alongside Nico and seeing firsthand the kind of person he was. He showed up for people, supported those around him, and brought positive energy wherever he went. He was the kind of person you could count on, and his loss has left a hole in the hearts of so many.
Tragically, Nico took his own life, leaving behind his wife and daughter. This loss has deeply affected all who knew him, and the community is coming together to support his family during this incredibly difficult time. Sam and Sophia are now facing the unimaginable challenge of moving forward without Nico’s love and support, and we want to do everything we can to help them during this painful time.
