Help Nicky & Teagan Britz Rebuild their Home

On August 3, a fire broke out in a neighbouring unit in Nicky's condo complex, and caused significant smoke and water damage to their home. She and her 3-year old daughter Teagan are now displaced for up to two years while restoration work takes place in their unit and in the building. In addition, all of their furniture and most personal effects (shoes, clothes, toys, artwork, decor, etc.) are not salvageable and will need to be disposed of.

Any personal items they were able to salvage will require extensive cleaning and restoration due to smoke damage. Nicky does have insurance coverage but the limits are not high enough to cover the damage and all of their possessions that will need to be replaced.

My name is Jannelle Chemko and I've started this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend Nicky and her beautiful daughter (and my goddaughter), Teagan. Nicky was so excited when she purchased her condo in 2017 and spent the last few years renovating every room and making it a home. Let's help them rebuild it!
