Support for Nick Abudo’s Medical Expenses

Dear Friends, Family, and our Community,

I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my nephew, Nick. Just a few days ago, Nick was involved in a devastating skateboarding accident that has left him with severe injuries. He sustained a cervical spine fracture, thoracic spine fracture, partially collapsed lung, and a severely fractured arm that may require surgery. Currently, he's in a trauma step-down unit, where he will remain for about a week.

Nick's journey to recovery will be long and arduous. In the coming months, he will need extensive medical care, including many visits with a neurosurgeon, orthopedic specialist, and rigorous physical therapy sessions. The road ahead is filled with challenges, both physical and emotional.

Adding to the already overwhelming situation, my sister Adrienne, Nick's mother, finds herself in a difficult position. She's currently between insurances, and the looming medical bills from Nick's treatment are threatening to have a significant financial impact on their family.

This is where we, as a community, can step in and make a real difference. I have launched this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden on the Abudos during this trying time.
