Update: My husband, Nick, finally defeated his cancer yesterday, January 26, 2026. He is at peace now and will never suffer again. Thank you for the outpouring of love and thoughts and all of your prayers. We are forever grateful
for your kind words and stories.
My husband, Nick, has been battling colorectal cancer for 20 months. I’ve been with him every step of the way—to every appointment, every infusion, sleeping next to his hospital bed when needed. We have two beautiful, amazing daughters and a very supportive family. Nick came home on hospice in November. He fought to stay with us through Thanksgiving and Christmas, celebrated his birthday in January, and unfortunately, he is struggling to hold on much longer. He took a turn this past Friday and now seems to be experiencing terminal delirium.
I’ve left work to take care of him since he requires round-the-clock care. We are down to one income, and the financial strain is growing. The funds raised will help us cover medical bills, daily care, and household expenses so our family can focus on being together during this difficult time.
I don’t normally ask for help, but my family is very important to me. Our girls are our world, and cancer is taking so much from them already. I don’t want their security taken as well. Any support you can give will help us keep our girls safe and allow us to focus on our time together. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
