Our family is enduring a tragedy. My cousin Nick passed away Thursday morning, 3/12 due to complications of the flu. He had been sick for over six days, hoping he would recover, but sadly, he did not. Nick leaves behind a loving wife and an 8-year-old daughter who are devastated by his passing, as well as his mother, brother, adult children, grandchildren, and many friends and family members. At just 45 years old, no one expected his life to end so soon. Nick worked tirelessly every day in the floor covering industry, a trade he learned from my dad, always putting his family first and never thinking of himself. His loss has turned his wife and daughter’s world upside down, leaving them facing uncertainty about their home and his daughter’s school, all while grieving the loss of a devoted husband and father. I would not wish this pain on anyone. If you are able to donate anything to support Nick’s wife and daughter, our family would be forever grateful. The family is surrounding them with love and comfort, but we need your help to give them hope for the future.
