Nick, my son, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Renal Cell Carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer. In January, he underwent surgery to remove his right kidney, and our family was heartbroken to learn that the cancer had already spread. Now, Nick is preparing to start intensive cancer treatment that is expected to last for the next year, keeping him out of work much longer than he had hoped.

Nick is the primary provider for his family and a devoted father to four young children: Grant, Madi, Henry, and Jack. The financial burden of mounting medical expenses, combined with the loss of income, has created an incredibly stressful situation for Nick and his loved ones.
