Support for Nicholas Lee Lyons' Funeral Costs

Hello Friends,

I am Nicholas Lee Lyons' uncle.

With a heavy heart, I am mustering up the words and courage to write a plea for help from our family, our friends, friends of friends, and folks that we may not know, using this GoFundMe platform, to raise money for funeral expenses that were not meant to be, unexpected, and so very sudden and too soon.

With words I wish I did not have to say or hear, my family and I suffered a tragic loss, losing our 23-year-old father, grandson, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to depression and suicide.

Nick, leaves behind..

(a beautiful 1 year old son Colton) that he loved beyond measure.. he was a dad that wanted to be a father more then anything in the world.

His mother Katie, Brother Shaun, Brother Nate, Sister Tamiyah, little brother Noah , Grandmothers Helen & Tammy, many uncles and Aunts , and Dozens of Cousins.

Our family is heartbroken and mourning our loss of an amazing person. Nick was a friend whenever you needed a friend, always polite and full of aspirations. A beautiful soul gone way too soon.

My family and I don’t know where to begin to come up with the funds to cover Nick's funeral and cremation expenses. We have literally almost bankrupted ourselves due to the holidays and prior deaths of other loved ones within this year.

We know most people are trying to recover after the holidays, and with a humble prayer, I wear my heart on my sleeve and ask if you can help in our time of need. We would be very appreciative and could not thank you enough.

Our goal is to raise $6000 to pay for services rendered through Peacock Funeral Home, to purchase an urn, cover cremation costs, and hopefully have enough funds to place him in a mausoleum with his sister who preceded him in 2015.

We are so grateful for the prayers and any services and funds you can offer to our family.
