My two nephews, Nicholas (13) and Kyle (7), were in a devastating car accident on Friday, March 13th. Our family is still trying to process the shock of it all. Nicholas, our oldest, suffered severe injuries — both femurs broken, both feet broken, a broken jaw, and bleeding on the brain. He has already undergone multiple surgeries, including one to relieve pressure on his brain, and he is currently in a medically induced coma. His condition remains critical, and we are holding onto hope with everything we have.
Kyle, our youngest, also broke his femur and tibia. He has already had surgery to repair his legs and, thankfully, is recovering well. We are grateful for every bit of progress he makes. As you can imagine, the medical bills and the long road of rehabilitation ahead are overwhelming for their parents.
We are humbly asking for any financial support you can offer to help ease the burden on their parents during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference and brings our family one step closer to healing.
Our family would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the civilians and first responders who rushed to help Nicholas and Kyle. Their quick actions and bravery saved the boys’ lives. They are true heroes, and we are eternally grateful for their compassion and courage.
