On Sunday the 12th my dad, Nicholas, got in a gnarly motorcycle accident. There was a cow in the middle of the road and he avoided it but high sided and flew over the side of his bike and on to the pavement. He has three broken ribs, a broken pelvis, and a bad concussion. This has put him out of work for at least two months, and now my mom is left to figure out how to survive on a single income, while taking care of him and us three kids.
