On Friday, September 12th, 2025, Nicci was driving home from her first late shift at her new job. The night was rainy and dark, and the area where Nicci lived is far from the city, with limited visibility. As she made her way through a wash area with little water, a sudden wall of water—six feet high—struck her car. In the chaos, Nicci called her children's father for help. He rushed to her aid but was swept away by the floodwaters about three miles from her location. Thankfully, he managed to escape his car and run to where Nicci was, calling his father and brother to join the search. The sheriff's department soon arrived to help, but the water was raging and made the search difficult. When the water finally began to recede, they found Nicci, but tragically, she had not survived.

Nicci was a kind, happy-go-lucky person who always had a smile on her face. She made sure to be kind to everyone she met and was a bright soul who loved her children and family deeply. Her sudden passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of her two beautiful daughters, their father—who co-parented with Nicci and shared an amazing relationship with her—and many friends and family members who loved her dearly.

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Nicci's funeral and burial expenses, and to support the care of her two daughters during this difficult time. Any contribution will help ease the financial burden on her family and ensure Nicci is remembered with the dignity and love she deserves.
