Support for Niamh

Donation protected

St Brenda's Camogie Club, Ballymacnab, Co Armagh wish to help our former player Niamh Hughes who is gravely ill in Brisbane, Australia. As a 14year old Niamh made club history by captaining our 1st All Ireland Feile team in 2001. She set up home in Australia with her devoted husband Kevin, from our neighbouring club Granemore but they have always kept an interest in their clubs back home. They have 4 young children, aged from 8yrs to just 18months and their happy life down-under has been turned upside-down with Niamh's recent sudden illness which may require major and potentially dangerous surgery. We hope that our efforts to support Niamh and their family financially through these difficult times will go some way to aiding Niamh's return to full health.

Please note that the GoFundMe platform currently asks for a minimum of 10% of your donation as an extra in order to cover the costs of the GoFundMe platform. GoFundMe does not charge anything to the funds raised. All monies raised will go to the Fund For Niamh, less the debit card processing fee which is 2.9%. .

You can “request a refund” of the donation to GoFundMe and it will be returned to your card.

Thank you all greatly for your support. We have been over whelmed with the response which we know will help support Niamh & Kevin through this difficult time.
