I am a single mother who has always been the rock for my family, but my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer that has metastasized. This aggressive form of cancer requires immediate and intense treatment. I am currently undergoing immunotherapy and recovering from a double mastectomy, which has left me unable to work and fully care for my home and child.

The financial burden is overwhelming. Insurance copays and treatment costs not covered by insurance are adding up quickly. I also need a mastectomy prosthesis and a special bra, and I am struggling to keep up with rent and utilities. My greatest concern is making sure my child is cared for and that we have a safe place to call home while I focus on fighting this disease.

Asking for help is hard, but I am reaching out because I need to make sure my child is cared for while I fight this and we don't lose our apartment.
