Update 6-14-2016

Atlas is weighing in at 4 lbs 6 oz and has had his breathing tube removed. He will probably lose weight in the upcoming days breathing on his own. The goal is to get him breathing on his own good and to hit 5 lbs before they release him.Tuank you for all the love and support.

My daughter had her son yesterday 10 weeks early and they had to do an emergency C-section to deliver. As of now both baby and my daughter are doing ok but my daughter had pre-eclampsia and is swollen beyond belief and the baby was born at only 2lbs 12 ounces and wasn't due until July 19th. I am starting this for my daughter because she has maternity leave and FMLA leave but both are unpaid after her 2 weeks vacation are exhausted. The baby will be in NICU for a minimum of 6 weeks and probably until his actually delivery date was due. My daughter has one more check and then 2 weeks vacation before going to no income at all. My family will help as much as possible as will dads family, but they will be at the hospital for quite sometime and expenses on top of their normal bills will start to pile up. I set the goal at 15k but I'm sure the bills will be in the 100's of thousands. Please if you can afford to donate every cent will help them, but please do not short yourself or your family to do so. I will update as baby and mom progress and God bless you all and keep sending prayers.
