My husband and I have tried for years to have children. After many failed attempts at IUI we finally got the news that we were expecting our baby girl.

My due date is tomorrow, April 27, 2026. I am super excited to meet this new person I’ve been growing inside of me these past several months.

Sadly, my husband won’t be around to meet her and watch her grow up. He passed away today. Just one day before her birth. He was so excited to meet her. He started to grow gray in the face saying she was already giving him gray hair. He always finds the humor in every situation.

The day will still be wonderful, but I am worried what it’s financially going to be like the first few months after giving birth. Without his income, and the now added funeral cost, things are going to be rough.
