Our town of New London was hit by severe flooding, and everything changed overnight.

My home is no longer safe to live in. Water has been leaking through all of my windows and even through the roof from days of continuous rain. The floors and subfloor are damaged, and we can’t return until the water goes down and utilities are restored.

My car sat in floodwater for days and is now damaged, leaving me without transportation and without a way to get to work. Because of the evacuation, I’ve already lost wages, and things are quickly becoming overwhelming.

Right now, my youngest child and I are displaced, waiting for it to be safe to go back. My other two children can’t even come home because of the flooding, and being separated from them has been heartbreaking.

I’m trying to raise $15,000 to help cover home repairs, replace or fix my car, and get through this time without income.
