Hi, My name is Shanin Medina and I have created this fundraiser for my sister Shelly Ryda due to a tragedy that struck our family. On June 9th 2026, Shelly's daughter, (my niece) Nevaeh May Jaslynn Finch, was tragically taken from us at just 21 years old. Nevaeh's life was taken along with her boyfriend and his parents lives too, leaving our family and his, devastated and struggling to process this unimaginable loss. She was a bright, kind young girl whose life was cut short far too soon, and her absence has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

In the midst of this tragedy, Shelly and her family are facing the unexpected costs of Nevaeh’s funeral and memorial arrangements. The financial burden is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time. Every donation will go directly toward covering these expenses, allowing Shelly and her family to focus on healing and honoring Nevaeh’s memory.

All funds raised in this fundraiser will go directly towards covering the funeral costs, cremation, memorial and any other financial burdens that this tragedy has caused.
