On Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2026, my nephew Zain was on his way to pick up his daughter from school when his life changed in an instant. A driver under the influence crossed into his lane and struck him head-on, causing a devastating crash. Zain never made it to pick up his daughter, and shortly after, his wife received the terrifying call that he had been rushed to the hospital after a severe accident.

Zain suffered serious and life-altering injuries, including a broken femur, both knees, and his ankle, requiring immediate surgery. He now faces a long and painful road to recovery, including additional medical care, rehabilitation, and months of healing ahead.

Just three months ago, Zain married the love of his life. Together they are building a beautiful family. He is a devoted husband, a loving father to his daughter and stepson, and they are currently expecting a baby boy. What should be a joyful time preparing for their growing family has suddenly turned into days filled with hospital stays, surgeries, and uncertainty about how long he will be unable to work.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Zain will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, creating an enormous emotional and financial strain on his family. Medical bills, recovery costs, and everyday living expenses are already beginning to pile up while he focuses on healing.

Our family is doing everything we can to support them, but the reality is that the financial burden is more than we can manage alone. We are asking our community to come together to help support Zain, his wife, and their children during this incredibly difficult time.
