My name is Tara Lama, and I was born and raised in Shyaphrubesi, Rasuwa, Nepal. Rasuwa is my home, my community, and where my family and childhood memories began. My eldest sister, a loving mother of two young children, is no longer with us, along with several other beloved family members lost in the devastating floods. In just minutes, our village was devastated—homes were swept away, families were torn apart, and lives were lost. As a family member living in the United States, I am starting this fundraiser because our family has suffered an unimaginable loss, and we want to help other families in Rasuwa who have lost their homes, loved ones, and everything they had. The funds will help provide **food, temporary shelter, clothing, transportation, medical care, and other urgent necessities.
