Hi, my name is Wilmalyn Vivit, and I’m humbly reaching out on behalf of our family during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives.
My beloved father-in-law, Nemesio Vivit, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest in the Philippines on April 16, 2025. He was revived twice in the emergency room, but tragically, he is now clinically dead. In the Philippines, it is not legally permitted to withdraw life support—even in cases of confirmed brain death—so Papa Nemesio remains on a mechanical ventilator until his heart stops naturally.
While our family has come to terms with the reality of losing Papa Nemy, we are now faced with overwhelming medical and funeral expenses. The cost of his ongoing Critical Care Unit (CCU) stay, medications, and ventilator support is rapidly increasing. In just 3 days, the hospital bill has already reached ₱439,626.69 PHP (approx. $7,700 USD)—and this does not include the doctors’ professional fees. The daily cost continues to rise, and we are struggling to keep up.
We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot manage this burden alone. We are asking for your help to cover:
Ongoing hospital and CCU bills
Medication and life support expenses
Doctors' fees
Funeral and burial costs to honor Papa Nemesio with dignity
Your support—no matter the amount—would mean the world to us. We would deeply appreciate it if you could share this campaign with your friends, family, and social media networks.
