I am Neil Wardell son of the man who was a father to all. Recently our time with our dad has been cut too short. The story of his life cannot be contained to this description but I can attempt to paint a picture (much as our daddy loved to paint thousands of intricate arts). His battle started years ago but in recent events the battle before his final hospital stay for over a month- In a desperate attempt to prolong his life we have exhausted all resources. However our loving God had other plans for his child. Dad’s life insurance had long expired and all funds have been withdrawn in effort for just one more moment with our dad. We would be elated if all donations were made in monitory value instead of flowers or cards to pay for our dad’s cremation to finally lay him to rest. Neil Wardell is a certified Emergency Medical professional who’s has touched the lives of many and thousands to come- let it be known that the worst fear of a medic is responding to that of your own flesh and blood and not being able to save them. Dad was Neil’s entire life spending only about 5-6 years apart before deciding that time together was too precious to waste. Even when times were tough Dad never for a moment wavered in his faith in his son to do his very best and put his all into not only his profession but his family. Tracey, Neil’s loving life partner has selflessly looked after and protected our daddy sacrificing her own medical line of work to insure the life of our Dad. For that Dad was grateful for every meal she crafted by her mothers love for culinary art and had the blessing to share her art with her beloved father who took her in and loved her for who she is. What she would give for just one more moment with him. What we all would give for just one more story from his timeline. Death is always hardest on us stuck down here, but we know he still is watching down on us and guiding us through every day without him. We love our daddy and want to finally lay his beautiful soul
