A tragic house fire in East town Township has shattered the lives of a young family, claiming the life of a beloved husband and father, Br. Nazeer. In a matter of moments, his wife lost her life partner, his four young children lost the man who was their protector and comfort, and the family lost its sole breadwinner, leaving them emotionally and financially devastated.

A loving husband, father, and provider

Nazeer was more than a provider, yet providing for his family was at the core of who he was.

He was the gentle heart of his home, the father who made his children feel safe and cherished, and the husband who worked tirelessly so his family never had to go without the daily necessities of life. Now, the laughter, security, and reassurance he brought into their home have been replaced by an aching silence and an overwhelming sense of loss.

A family facing heartbreak and sudden hardship

Today, his wife is trying to process a grief that feels unbearable while also confronting an urgent and frightening reality: the family’s only source of income is gone. Four young children, who once only had to worry about school and play, are now living through the trauma of losing their father and the stability he provided. On top of unimaginable emotional pain, the family must somehow cover expenses related to housing, food, utilities, transportation, and the everyday needs of growing children—with no income to rely on.

My name is Syed Numan and Br Nazeer was a friend and a key member of the community. This fundraiser has been created by me to support the living expenses of his family and education of his children so that the grieving family does not have to face this storm all alone. The funds collected from this fundraiser will be transferred directly to the bank account of the Spouse of the deceased (Seema Huma). Seema Huma is the wife of Br Nazeer.
