On July 17, our friend Natalio suffered a serious injury to his leg after he fell off his scooter on his way home from work in North Beach. Natalio broke his leg in several places and has severe nerve damage that may be permanent. Since his accident, Natalio has been hospitalized at Kaiser Permanente. He has undergone surgical procedures to stabilize and drain fluid from his leg and has another one schedule for early August. He currently is in a great deal of pain and is worried about his future. At the very least, Natalio will be out of work for another 7 weeks and will likely have limited mobility in his leg; potentially keeping him from work even longer.

Anyone who knows Natalio understands how much of a hard worker he is. He regularly sends money home to his family in Mexico. Between working at Barrio and The Boardroom in North Beach, Natalio has built a strong network of industry friends. He is known for his big smile and even bigger heart.
