Support for Nancy Vinson's Final Expenses
Donation protected
Hi I am Nancy Vinson’s grandson, Nathan Fulbright. My grandma went to be the Lord on Thursday unexpectedly and has now reunited with my Dad and the rest of our family. Being that I’m one of her last close relative, I’m starting a GoFundMe to help towards her medical bills, cremation, and the process of probate court etc. She does have life insurance but it’s a waiting process. My money is tight, so I’m not able to cover the expenses up front at this exact moment. Im also responsible for cleaning out and storing all her belongings so this will also help with travel expenses for me and my family. It would really lift the burden with worrying about bills, food, and gas being a young family of two little boys and having to take off work to travel back and forth to Myrtle and Spartanburg. So any small donation will be incredibly helpful!
If you knew my nawnaw I’m sure you’ve heard all about me and my little family. She was a very proud grandma and great grandma. But I know she’s more than happy to be together with her son again. We will miss her more than I can put into words.
She had major abdominal surgery 2 weeks prior to her passing. She was very worried to go through with such a risky surgery but decided to have it done in Spartanburg to be here with us and her kind friend. Her surgery went really well but she was diagnosed with CHF after it. The doctors said she was recovering great so she got to leave the hospital by the end of that week. After leaving the hospital she was staying in Spartanburg to recover for a few days but she was feeling very homesick and determined to be back home in Myrtle. She called me when she got home, told me she was settling down after doing somethings around the house and seemed super happy to be home. She was very stubborn sometimes but I knew that she just wanted to be home and happy. The next day we talked briefly that morning and after another long day of work I realized she never tried to call me the rest of that day, as we usually did. She wasn’t answering her phone so I contacted her neighbor who knocked on her door with no answer but the dog was barking. At this moment It kind of dawned on me that she may have passed away because she wakes up easy… I called the police who had to force entry into her house where they found her passed away in her home. Nawnaw always told me almost anytime we sat down and talked that she was not dying in Spartanburg and wanted to be at her home when she did pass away. At the beach, in her home that she’s been in for 20 years. They say sometimes people know and I think she did. My nawnaw was not perfect by no means but she was perfect to us. She didn’t have to be in my life but made sure that no matter the circumstance she was and made sure we knew how much we were loved. She is now with my Papa Terry Vinson, My dad Jason Fulbright, and her whole family. Even though we are in pain here without you, Heaven is celebrating you. She was so strong and a warrior. All the obstacles and troubles in her life she faced head on and created a miracle. I know my Dad is SUPER proud of her because I sure am. She was Determined, SMART, funny and full of life even at 66 years old. I love you Nawnaw…Until we meet again I will be trying to make you, papa and my dad proud. I greatly appreciate your generosity and thank you for your time!
