Nancy Ramon is a 35-year-old mother of two young boys, ages seven and nine, who came to the United States from the Dominican Republic three years ago. She made this journey seeking safety and a better future for herself and her children after escaping an abusive relationship. Despite the many challenges she has faced, Nancy has remained resilient and hopeful, always putting her children first.
Recently, Nancy was hospitalized at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and her condition has unfortunately worsened. Her doctors have determined that she is not currently fit to travel back to the Dominican Republic, leaving her family in a very difficult situation. As Nancy’s health remains uncertain, her two young sons are facing immense challenges without their mother’s care and support. The family is now preparing for whatever may come, including the possibility of needing to bring Nancy’s body back to her home country if the worst should happen.
The funds raised will go directly toward covering living expenses for Nancy’s children and, if necessary, the costs associated with returning Nancy to the Dominican Republic. We are reaching out to our community for help—any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference for Nancy and her family during this critical time. Your support and kindness are deeply appreciated.
