This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Usually, I suck up whatever I’m going through and figure it out on my own, but since becoming a mother to my handsome and happy baby boy, Myheir, I have learned to put my pride to the side and ask for help.

I have been struggling with rent and bills for a while now, due to the fact I cannot return to work or start schooling yet because my son is not 1 year old. I have done this on my own for 9 months without the help of Myheir’s father and with help from my village when they can. My first and last bit of money always goes to what Myheir needs, and if I have something left over, I cover my bills and then what I need for myself. At this point in life, I am facing eviction and trying my best to figure out ways to keep a roof over our heads and basic household necessities. I have even listed things for sale online, offered pedicures, and offered to braid hair as a source of income. Starting a GoFundMe was something I never imagined I would do, something I probably should’ve done sooner, and is my last resort.
