My wife recently experienced a medical emergency when her appendix burst, which led to the removal of both her appendix and part of her colon. The recovery process is going to be long and difficult, and she will be unable to work for at least six weeks. During this time, my paycheck alone will not be enough for us to cover our basic needs and keep up with our bills. This has been an incredibly stressful and emotional time for our family, and we are doing our best to stay strong and hopeful.
