I met my wife when she was 18 and I was 22, back in college in Belarus. We built our life together through many challenges, including leaving our home country and moving to Brooklyn to escape dictatorship. After waiting ten years, we finally won our green card case in 2025 and were so close to completing the process. Just two weeks ago, on the day before her fingerprint appointment, we rushed to the emergency room. The doctors told us she has angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. We recently moved from Florida to Philadelphia, and our insurance won’t start until January 2026. Now, she’s in the hospital, and I can’t work as an OTR truck driver while caring for her. We’re also waiting for her mom to arrive from Belarus to help, but travel costs are high and she’s still overseas.
We’re facing overwhelming medical bills and daily expenses, and I’m unable to earn an income right now. The funds raised will help us pay for her treatment, cover our living costs, and bring her mom here to support her during this difficult time.
Thank you for your support. I have no words to explain how important this is for us. Your kindness means more than I can say.
