My uncle was diagnosed with renal insufficiency about 16 years ago, and over the years, his condition has slowly gotten worse. Recently, he began retaining a lot of liquid, which caused his leg to swell severely. This swelling led to painful ulcers that would burst and bleed, making his daily life incredibly difficult. Right now, he is in the hospital receiving treatment, but the journey has been long and challenging for him and our family. The mounting medical bills and the cost of his medications have become too much for him to handle alone.
