Hi everyone, I’m scheduled to have stoma surgery on April 20th, just 8 days away. This is a necessary surgery for my ongoing health and will be a major step in improving my quality of life. Unfortunately, my insurance is not covering all of the costs, and the remaining medical bills along with recovery expenses have created a financial burden I wasn’t prepared for.
I have lived with Crohn’s disease for 16 years. Over that time, I’ve tried so many different medications and treatments, but nothing has given me the quality of life I need to enjoy the simple things—like going to baseball games, eating out, or just being present for daily moments with my four kids. The challenges of this illness have made it hard to do the things I love and be there for my family the way I want to be.
This surgery is my chance to get that quality of life back. The funds raised will go directly toward my surgery costs and help me focus on healing and being with my kids. If you are able to donate, it would truly mean so much and would help us get through this difficult season. Any amount is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and support.
