My son was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with compound fractures in both of his femurs and his right tibia. The injuries are severe, and he is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. Doctors have told us that he will be unable to walk for an unknown period of time, which means he cannot return to work. The disability payments he will receive are not enough to cover his current living expenses, leaving him in a very difficult financial position.

To make matters even more challenging, the trauma hospital where he is receiving care does not accept his Blue Shield Blue Cross insurance. As a result, he has received an enormous medical bill that he simply cannot pay. The stress of these financial burdens is weighing heavily on him as he tries to focus on healing and rehabilitation.
