My son was a 22-year-old barber who was tragically murdered in Lynchburg, VA on May 18. He loved music, but his true passion was cutting hair. He was a former high-school and college athlete, a brother, uncle, and friend. His smile could light up a room, and his contagious laugh brought joy to everyone around him. He was a comedian at heart, always finding ways to make others laugh.
Like all of us, he had his faults, but I knew he loved his family and his few real friends deeply. The only reason he was at those apartments was because his girlfriend lives there. As his parent, I am a teacher and was not prepared for this financial situation. You never think as a parent that you would have to bury your child, and the pain is unimaginable.
Funds raised will go toward funeral costs and expenses. Any support you can offer during this difficult time would mean so much to our family. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help us honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
