I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but right now I truly need support for my family.

A few days ago, my son was hit by a car while riding his bike to school near Clifford Findlay Middle School. The driver didn’t stop and left the scene, and it has been one of the most terrifying experiences of my life as a mother. Thankfully, my son is here with me, but he’s been in pain, sore, and emotionally shaken since the accident.

Since this happened, everything has been overwhelming—doctor visits, making sure he’s okay, and trying to hold everything together while still managing work and daily responsibilities. I’ve had to shift my focus completely to caring for him, and it’s put me in a difficult financial position.

Right now, I’m asking for help to cover for rent so we can stay stable during this time and I can continue to focus on my son’s recovery without the added stress of falling behind.
