Hi guys !

I’m doing a friend thing today! Starting this fundraiser for someone I love, with her full blessing .

My dear sister friend Candace and her partner dealing with a tough time and very human moment. So I wanted to help take one thing off her plate while they get back on their feet.

Over the past few months, my friends partner lost his job, and despite actively applying and doing everything required, there’s been a delay with unemployment benefits coming through. They’ve been budgeting carefully and doing what they can, but the timing of everything has left them behind on rent.

Their rent is $950 a month, and they’re currently three months behind. The goal here is to help cover the back rent and build a small cushion so they can stabilize while income is being sorted out. Having that breathing room would allow them to focus on work and forward momentum instead of constant stress.

I know asking for help isn’t easy, and I admire them for how hard they’re working through this. If you’re able to contribute or share, it would mean a lot. And if not, thank you for taking the time to read and for holding them with care.
