Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

With a broken heart, I share that my sister and brother-in-law recently experienced the unimaginable — my sister, on July 18th, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, only to lose her shortly after delivery. What was meant to be one of the happiest days of their life has turned into one of the most heartbreaking.

No one can ever be prepared for this kind of pain, and while we cannot take away the grief, we are hoping to ease the burden in any way we can. We’re raising funds to support them during this incredibly difficult time — to help cover funeral costs, counseling, time away from work, and the many unexpected expenses that come with such a devastating loss.

My sister and her husband are one of the most loving, kind-hearted people I know. My sister has dreamed of becoming a mother and prepared for this baby with so much hope and joy. Now, she’s faced with grief no parent should ever know.
