My sister has always lived for her kids, doing everything possible to make them smile and feel loved. Lola, her 10-year-old daughter, was full of inspiring goals and dreamed of becoming a third grade teacher. She was a girly girl, always brightening the room with her energy. King, her 12-year-old son, was a true protector for his family—a boys’ boy who wanted to make a lot of money and take care of those he loved.

Every Saturday, my sister and her kids would go out for an outing together. This past Saturday, their original plans didn’t work out, so they made new ones and ended up at Turkey Creek in Pinson. Tragically, both Lola and King drowned in the creek that day, leaving our family heartbroken and struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss.

We’re asking for a little support to help my sister through this time of need.
