Since January, my life has been turned upside down. I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, a serious and frightening condition that has left me unable to work and struggling just to focus on healing. Every day has been a challenge—physically, emotionally, and financially. On top of everything, I’ve had to travel back and forth between Bakersfield, USC, and UCLA to receive the specialized care I need. The constant trips, medical appointments, and uncertainty have taken a toll, and the expenses have quickly become overwhelming.

It’s incredibly hard to ask for help, but right now I truly need it. I’m doing my best to stay strong and fight through this, but I can’t do it alone.
