Support for My Parents: Open Heart Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Kayla, and I' reaching out on behalf of my incredible parents.

My dad is scheduled to have bypass surgery on his heart this week, and will be out of work for the next several weeks. Depending on the surgery and recovery, the time out of work is currently unknown. This surgery is critical, and while we're thankful it's happening, the time off and the stress of recovery come with a heavy financial burden.

Then there's my mom, Momma Kim, as so many people call her. She's been working two jobs to keep things going, always putting others first, and doing it with grace and strength, even when she is exhausted. She's the kind of person who shows up for everyone, and right now I would love you to show up for her.

This fundraiser is not just about covering the loss of income from my dad's recovery, but also about giving my mom some breathing room, so she doesn't have to carry the weight of this alone.
