I am a 32-year-old man who recently received life-changing news. Two months ago, in September, I found out that I have a cancerous tumor on my pancreas.
This was discovered after I was in a severe car accident on August 25th. During a thorough examination following the accident, doctors found the tumor on my pancreas, as well as another growth on my lung that is currently being monitored.
I spent eight weeks recovering from the accident, which already took a major toll on my savings. Now, on the 21st of this month, I am scheduled to undergo surgery to remove my pancreas and spleen. I will be out of work for at least another eight weeks during recovery, with no income during that time.
Between the accident, medical expenses, and upcoming surgery, I’m now worried about being able to afford basic living expenses and even having a place to live while I recover.
If you are able to help in any way, please know that every contribution—no matter the amount—means more than I can put into words. Thank you so much for all the love, support, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
