Our mother is one of the most loving and caring people you could ever meet. She has always been the type of person who would bend over backwards to help anyone in need, putting others before herself without hesitation. Now, she is facing one of the toughest times of her life, and I want to do everything I can to support her, just as she has always supported those around her.

Over the last month, my mother has endured a series of serious health challenges. The first week of December, she feel and broke her knee, which required surgery and a long recovery period which has put her out of work for the next 9 months to a year. As if that wasn’t enough, on January 4th she recently suffered a minor heart attack and required a stent to be inserted into her heart due to an completely blocked artery. Because she was only working part time, she does not qualify for disability, and with her current insurance, her resources are extremely limited. The financial strain of medical bills, living expenses, and the cost of necessary medications is overwhelming.

We are doing our best as a family to help her financially, but we also have our own financial burdens. That’s why I am reaching out to this caring community for support. Every little bit helps, and any contribution will go directly toward easing my mother’s burdens so she can focus on healing.
