In August, my mother faced a life-threatening emergency when she needed surgery for a ruptured stomach ulcer. The situation quickly became more complicated—her lungs began to fail, and she developed internal infections near the surgery site. For six weeks, she was on a ventilator, fighting for her life. During October and November, she was moved between different hospitals and rehab facilities, each step focused on helping her recover and regain her strength.

Thankfully, my mother has made significant progress and is now back home. However, her recovery is ongoing, and she still needs my care every day. Because of this, I am unable to work, as my priority is making sure she gets the support and attention she needs. The journey has been challenging, both emotionally and financially, as we navigate the costs of her medical care and daily living expenses.
