It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of beloved father, husband, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother and friend Angel Antonio Martinez who left us on May 27th.

He was his namesake, an angel on earth. He was always a helping hand and a friend to all he met. His eyes and smile were as soft and gentle has his heart, and his laughs were as loud and contagious as his spirit.

He was adored and will be greatly missed.

Our family is currently navigating a period of unimaginable grief. Just five months ago, we also lost my dear grandmother. During her final months, my mother dedicated everything she had to her care—both emotionally and financially. Between the mounting medical bills for both my grandmother and my father, and the costs of my grandmother's funeral, my mother’s lifelong savings have been completely exhausted.

Now, as we face the heartbreaking task of putting my father to rest, my mother has been left with nothing to cover his final expenses. We want more than anything to give him the dignified goodbye he deserves—to honor a man who would take the shirt off of his back for a stranger, whose handshake and word were as good as a contract and whose soul never judged anothers.

We are reaching out for help to raise $10,000 to cover:

Funeral Service and Burial/Cremation Fees: $7,000

Final Medical Bills: $3,000
