On March 26, my mother was rescued by my older sister after she found her tied up, sitting in terrible conditions with no clothes, due to abuse from her husband. My mother was immediately taken to the hospital, and since then, our family has been traveling from Tennessee to Georgia every other day, hoping and praying she would get better. We are so thankful that God gave my sister the feeling that something was wrong and led her to check on our mother.

Sadly, on April 10, my mother passed away. We are heartbroken, but grateful that we were able to see her and spend time with her before she was brought home to God. Now, we are trying to raise money for her funeral, including cremation, services, repass, and travel expenses for our family. In our hearts, we know God will get us through this, and we thank Him for letting us see her before she was taken home.
