My mother was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which is now spreading to other areas of her body. The doctors have given her a timeline of approximately 6 months to live. This was completely unexpected, and I was not prepared for such devastating news. I have very little savings to pay for her care and am reaching out for help.

She has worked hard her entire life and is a sweet person who means the world to me. I couldn't have asked for a better mother—she's my best friend. If I had the means to take care of this financial hardship, I absolutely would, but between my own bills and the sudden expenses, I have no idea how I could afford everything in such a short amount of time.
