My mother has always been the heart of our family—strong, caring, and fiercely independent. Recently, she was diagnosed with aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and our world changed overnight. The treatments have taken a toll on her health, leaving her unable to work and often too sick to spend time with friends or family. Watching her go through this has been incredibly difficult for all of us, especially as she’s always been the one to support others in times of need.

The financial strain has been overwhelming since she lost her job. Medical bills are piling up, and everyday expenses are becoming harder to manage. My mother’s focus should be on healing, not worrying about how to keep the lights on or pay for her next treatment.
