My mother-in-law, Olga, is facing one of the hardest moments of her life. After 51 years of marriage, she recently lost her husband—my father-in-law Larry- who passed away after spending a difficult month in the hospital. Their love and partnership brought three wonderful children into the world, and together they built a life full of care and dedication. She is a truly remarkable woman: hard-working, caring, and still working part time at 72 to help manage their expenses.

Unfortunately, my father-in-law did not have life insurance or much in savings, and his passing has left her with significant financial burdens. She is now facing burial expenses, outstanding medical bills, and the ongoing costs of living, all while grieving the loss of her partner. On top of this, she is at risk of losing her home, which makes this time even more overwhelming and urgent.
