Our beautiful mother was hit by a Ford F-150 on Wednesday night while traveling northbound on Vanderbilt Dr. The other driver, heading southbound, tried to turn left into a neighborhood and failed to yield, causing a serious tragic accident. She was Medflighted to Gulf Coast Medical Center and is now in the Trauma ICU in a coma, fighting for her life. She has multiple bleeds on her brain, two broken legs, two broken arms, a broken left hip, fractured spine, fractured ribs, and facial fractures. She underwent surgery on both legs and her hip, and will need 2-3 more surgeries in the coming weeks. Her recovery is uncertain until she wakes up, and we do not yet know how the brain bleeds will affect her.

The funds raised will help cover her mounting medical bills and the extensive rehabilitation she will need. She cannot put any weight on her legs for at least three months and will need to learn to walk again. She also cannot use her arms for at least six weeks, making daily life and recovery even more challenging. My family and I are doing everything we can to support her, but we are struggling during this extremely difficult time. Your support will help us stay by her side and provide the care she needs.
