Our family is facing something incredibly difficult — our mom, Wendy, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is someone who has always been strong, independent, and hardworking. She has spent her life taking care of others, showing up when people needed her, and pushing through challenges without ever asking for help. Now, she is facing one of the biggest battles of her life.
Wendy will be starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy soon, with surgery to follow, and her doctors have told her that she is unable to work during treatment because of the physical toll it will take on her body. This sudden change has created both emotional and financial stress for our family at a time when our focus should be entirely on her health and recovery. We are raising funds to help cover living expenses while she undergoes treatment, medical costs and medications, transportation to appointments, and daily needs so she can focus on healing.
Our mom is a fighter, and we are staying hopeful. She loves her friends and family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who bring her so much joy and motivation to keep fighting. Cancer treatment is a long road, but having support from friends, family, and the community will make a tremendous difference in reducing stress and allowing her to focus on what matters most — getting better. If you are able to donate, share this fundraiser, or keep her in your thoughts and prayers, we are deeply grateful. Thank you for supporting her during this difficult time.
Just a quick note: If you see a ‘tip’ added at checkout, that goes to GoFundMe to support their platform, not to our fundraiser. You can adjust it if you’d like, even to 0. We are so grateful for every single donation.
